Time to Spring into Action.

That is exactly the nature of the season of Spring. There is a buzz in the air - literally as the bees toil away in amongst the profusion of blossoms in our gardens pollinating and honey making.

There is a buzz of activity in the earth as deciduous plants spring to life, the grass starts to grow again at breakneck speed.

The buzz seems contagious - you see many people out in their gardens now preparing the vege beds, planting and weeding.  The hardware stores and nurseries are becoming more heavily populated with folk buying soil, plants, gardening equipment.  Even our houses are calling out for attention - "wash my walls, windows and spring clean me". Or perhaps that is just my house!

Heed it's call. Allow the call to entice you to help you get moving again after the relative stillness of winter. A good way of breaking down those fat stores we accumulated during our hibernation.

For me, it is a bit of a laugh to talk about enjoying the stillness and hibernation of winter. The last two winters have been so crazily busy - classes, workshops, courses, boys soccer etc but I still manage to savour the delights of winter that include a passionate affair with my dressing gown (having only in recent years discovered how delicious they are), merry midwinter feasting and a bushwalk or too.

Curiously, even though we are now in Spring the season of activity - this month's Sage Page talks about "slowing" as opposed to life in the fast lane. Being as opposed to doing. Many of us have lost the art of slow, perhaps feel time poor and need to be reminded "how to". Once we remember how to we then can start to create a better balance in our lives. Balancing fast and slow. Recognise the need for speed and the need for the right speed.

Some people thrive on being fast and busy while others enjoy a snail pace existence. Then of course there are many of us who are frantically busy and so yearn to slow down and smell the roses. Do you fit into one of those categories? Yes? Then I think you might get something out of this months Sage Page.

As per recent months, we will also cover two  of the Australian Bush Flower Essences that can help you slow down or speed up. We look at some of the tarot cards that indicate the need for speed and the need for slow. ...So grab a cuppa, sit back and relax.....
